'Running the show': Some Chelsea fans blown away by £158k-a-week star's international display

Chelsea supporters were mainly unified in their celebration of Christian Pulisic’s performance for the USA national team yesterday.
Pulisic was literally Captain America when he skippered the Stars and Stripes to a 2-1 friendly fixture win over Northern Ireland.
He also got on the scoresheet after converting a second half penalty.
Here’s how Blues fans reacted to the 22-year-old’s goalscoring display.
RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
It will have been a nice relief for Pulisic going away on international duty following a troubled spell at domestic level.
Thomas Tuchel is yet to find a specific role in his Chelsea team for the £158,654-a-week (Spotrac) American other than that as a substitute.
The fast-footed forward had started both of the Blue’s last two fixtures before the break and was named Man of the Match in the 2-0 FA Cup win over Sheffield United.
But this doesn’t completely override the difficult season that Pulisic is enduring in general.
That goal he netted against Northern Ireland was his first in any competition since December 5th.
In fact, his tally for the entirety of 2020/21 stands at just three for club and country.
Injuries have certainly played a part in Pulisic’s down turn in form.
Tuchel and Chelsea will hope he is fit and firing again for the return of league action this weekend as the Blues face West Bromwich Albion.
