Chelsea vs Borussia Dortmund Team News

An issue for the Blues will definitely be the fitness of Trevor Chalobah, who picked up a knock in their win against Fulham – adding to their centre-half injury nightmare.

Axel Disasi was brought in to relieve some of the stress surrounding this, but he won’t be signed in time to feature, leaving Poch with few options.

Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk could both feature, however thus far have been not used too much due to their appearances at the Under-21 European Championships.

As for Dortmund, they actually have some injury woes. Nico Schlotterbeck and Julien Duranville both won’t feature as they’re penned up in the medical tent.

The Blues have looked so convincing in pre-season so far. Mauricio Pochettino has finally got what once was a disgruntled squad playing and we think they’ll turn Dortmund over in the States.

Prediction: Chelsea 3- 1 Borussia Dortmund
