Predicted Chelsea 4-3-3 line-up to play Wolves: Pulisic starts; Havertz back in midfield
Frank Lampard is likely to make a few changes in the Chelsea line-up to face Wolves on Tuesday as they prepare for some tough festive fixtures.
Saturday’s disappointing result against Everton was Chelsea’s first defeat in 18 games in all competitions.
While they were far from their best defensively, the Blues were arguably still solid at the back aside from a few individual mistakes.
It was at the other end of the pitch where they really struggled.
Lampard insisted the 4-3-3 system was not the culprit; it was the execution (Chelsea’s official YouTube channel).
It would not be a surprise if Lampard decided to shuffle the front three against Wolves.
Christian Pulisic, who just returned to the squad, is obviously an option, although it remains to be clear whether he is ready to start.
Tammy Abraham could replace Olivier Giroud in the starting line-up as well.
Kai Havertz could return to midfield and help the attack from a more central role.
Predicted Chelsea line-up v Wolves (4-3-3):

Havertz – Kante – Mount
