Chelsea salvaged a point at the absolute death against Manchester United. Read our player ratings from the game.
Goalkeeper
Kepa: 6 – Made a good stop in the lead up to United’s equalizer. Handling was assured and he had no chance for either goal.
Defence
Cesar Azpilicueta: 6 – Swung in a good cross for the last gasp goal. However, he is uncertain in possession and even his famed defending is starting to decline.
Antonio Rudiger: 7 – Very good as usual. A thumping goal and he defended well.
David Luiz: 5 – Overall, he played quite well. However, his defending for Martial’s second goal was Sunday League stuff. He may bring certain qualities but he is a disaster waiting to happen at the back.

Marcos Alonso: 4 – Caught too high up the pitch for United’s second, leaving Luiz exposed. For the first goal, he took a light stamp on the foot and remained on the floor for the entire United attack from which they scored. Not impressive.
Midfield
Jorginho: 7 – Played his usual game. He also seems to have picked up a yard of pace as the season kicks in.
N’Golo Kante: 5 – He was so important when play broke down in ensuring United did not break. For that he deserves great credit. His passing and play in the attacking third was poor though as he is not suited to playing such an advanced role.
Mateo Kovacic: 6 – I thought he was really neat and tidy. He lacks a goal threat, in which Barkley has an advantage over him.

Attack
Willian: 4 – Congested the play and never ran in behind. His lack of a left foot threat from the right also neuters the attacks from that side. Pedro should have payed.
Eden Hazard: 6 – Not at his best but he is being asked to carry the attack on his own as he has for years.

Alvaro Morata: 4 – He was OK in the first half but Gary Neville was right in calling out his obsession with falling over. Giroud offered more link up threat in two touches than the Spaniard did for the whole game.
