Chelsea comfortably strolled past PAOK to top their Europa League group. Here, we examine the player ratings from the victory.

Kepa: 6

Barely touched the ball so he cannot really score anything else other than a 6.

Davide Zappacosta: 7

He is  much better going forward than Azpilicueta. He is direct and very willing to overlap and get to the byline. His delivery was not always great but he added a lot.

Gary Cahill: 6

Very little to do except make simple passes into midfield. Did make one impressive first half block.

Andreas Christensen: 6

One of his great strengths is striding into midfield in possession. Sarri wants his defenders to pass forward quickly rather than do what Christensen does. The Dane still tried moving into midfield, to some success, probably trying to impress the boss.

Emerson: 8

Yes, he was not tested in defence by a poor team down to ten men. However, his delivery is excellent and he makes Chelsea’s left side so much quicker and more threatening than Alonso does.

Cesc Fabregas: 8

He played some excellent scoop passes over the top including the assist for Olivier Giroud’s second goal. Perfect for games like this.

Ross Barkley: 6

Neat and tidy in Kante’s position. Did nothing spectacular but kept possession well.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek: 9

Top of the ratings this time. Loftus-Cheek has gifts that no other midfielder the club has. He dribbled through the PAOK defence on his own several times with incredible athleticism and+ was unlucky not to score with several good efforts. He needs to start a lot more especially as he showed defensive eagerness as well.

Pedro: 8

Willian has been favoured over him recently but hopefully as Pedro returns to full fitness he will get his place back. A constant threat in all areas and he manages to find dangerous positions all the time.

Callum Hudson-Odoi: 8

He played better than Willian has all season. He showed different ways of going past his man and displayed his shooting ability. The youngster needs game time and lots of it or Chelsea will lose an exceptional talent.

Olivier Giroud: 8

Two fantastic finishes which should see him start in the Premier League team. Link up play as clever as always.
