Chelsea loanee Angelo Gabriel was in action yet again last night in France.
Angelo Gabriel, who’s just 18, is spending a season-long loan with Ligue 1 club Strasbourg.
Strasbourg fell to a 1-0 home defeat against Lens on Friday evening in the French top division, but the Chelsea-owned youngster got 90 minutes under his belt.
The right-winger’s quickly forced his way into the starting XI at his loan club, earning some big praise for his performances so far.
We saw during pre-season with Chelsea that the Brazilian teenager is a skilful attacker with plenty of tricks and pace, so this year in France should be great for his overall development.
It certainly seems like Angelo’s switch to Strasbourg is one of the picks from Chelsea’s loan deals this season.
Some could argue that the Brazilian teenager could make an impact in the current Blues first team, which is struggling at the top end of the pitch right now.
However, we’re expecting him to return to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for next summer’s pre-season a more rounded individual with the potential to make his mark at Stamford Bridge.
