John Terry took to Instagram to show his delight of the Chelsea U21 side defeating Tottenham last night.
The young Blues picked up a 3-0 win over their London rivals. This is despite not picking a number of their best players for the match.
There is a belief that Graham Potter could be set to call up the likes of Omari Hutchinson and Lewis Hall for the first team’s League Cup game with Manchester City tomorrow.

This comes as a result of a sensational run of form the development side have been in this season, and this carried on last night.
Led by summer signing from Italy Cesare Casadei, the Blues dominated proceedings from the start on their way to another victory.
Terry was seen as part of the Chelsea staff last night, with him being back in the dressing room.
Terry delighted with U21 win
It is obvious that his time as captain of the club mean he will have a great affection to any Blues team that can defeat one of their closest rivals.
It is very believable that he will have been an inspiration to those players last night, reminding them of the importance of not losing to Spurs.
He was obviously delighted after the game, taking to Instagram to say: “Always good to beat Spurs”.

Many Chelsea fans will have been hoping for the same ‘win at all costs’ mindset to be installed into the players before the recent London derby against Arsenal.
The Blues were dominated by the league leaders at Stamford Bridge, starting to pose a few questions over Graham Potter at Chelsea.
Realistically, those are clearly far too harsh considering the lack of time he has had at the club, and the fact he has only lost two games since becoming manager of the club.
