Young Chelsea goalkeeper Eddie Beach expressed his admiration for fellow Blue Enzo Fernandez’s exceptional passing ability he would love to have as a player.
Beach is currently on loan a short-term loan at non-league side Chelmsford City until the end of the season.
To celebrate Non-League Day, Chelsea recently interviewed the 19-year-old in their “If I could…” series.
Based on one of his answers, it is easy to tell that like most Chelsea fans, he has been very impressed with Fernandez.

“Enzo’s passing ability 100 percent,” the young goalkeeper told Chelsea’s 5th stand app when asked to take one part of any Chelsea player’s game.
“In terms of what he sees, in terms of my distribution, I would see about eight passes that I never would have.”
Fernandez has averaged more progressive passes per 90 minutes in the Premier League this season, and his being able to make so many different types of passes played a big part.
His assist for Kai Havertz in the win over Leicester City earlier this month, for example, is simply breathtakingly beautiful.
Having the vision to see passing lanes is one thing, but also having the technical quality to make the ball reach a teammate regardless of opposition defence is what makes players like Fernandez truly elite.
