Reports have claimed that Todd Boehly is still confident Chelsea can win the Champions League this season.

According to The Athletic, there was an internal belief stretching back to before the first leg last night that winning the competition was firmly within their grasp.

It is realistic to expect that the competition will bring the biggest game of the season to Stamford Bridge in three weeks’ time.

There are currently attempts going on to secure him a work permit to allow him to join up with the first team instantly.

Off the back of his extremely impressive showing for Brazil at the U20 South American championships, confidence is surely high that he can avoid being loaned out again this season, and instead get to work at Stamford Bridge.
