Some Chelsea fans are worried after the French Football Federation confirmed that N’Golo Kante has picked up a hamstring injury during Wednesday’s draw with Ukraine.

The 29-year-old played full 90 minutes for France on Wednesday but will have to missed out on the next two games because of the injury.

A statement from FFF said: “The Chelsea midfielder felt a pain in the hamstrings of the left thigh at the very end of the match against Ukraine on Wednesday at the Stade de France.

“He had clinical and radiological examinations on Thursday, which revealed a small injury.”

The statement also added that France boss Didier Deschamps has decided to send Kante back to Chelsea on Friday after consulting with the national team doctor.

Thankfully, it is a small injury and he might recover before Chelsea return to action for the West Brom clash on April 3.

But some Chelsea fans are still concerned about Chelsea’s next few games, particularly with Jorginho also out injured.

Italy boss Roberto Mancini previously confirmed that the midfielder picked up a knee injury and therefore did not make the latest Italy squad.
