Thiago Silva’s wife Isabele has been helping the Chelsea star stay fit along with a hired team of staff, including a personal physiotherapist and performance advisor.
The 36-year-old is a model professional and a leader on the pitch. But he has taken it to another level as he has changed his lifestyle to prolong his top-level career.
Fortunately for him, his family, particularly his wife Isabele, is there to help him out.
“He puts a lot of emphasis on diet and exercise,” Isabele told Goal about Silva’s new routine at home.
“He is very professional. Whenever he wants to achieve a goal, I do what I can; I try to eat natural like him, we don’t drink soda.
“We do the exercises together at home; he helps me too. It’s nothing extraordinary; it’s just simple things, he exercises a lot with the club. He only does light exercise when he is at home.”
Goal also mentioned that Isabele manages a team of staff to assist the Brazil international.
The team has been with Silva for a couple of years to help change his diet. But he has reportedly added a personal physiotherapist and performance advisor from London on the advice of Emerson Palmieri and David Luiz.
Silva, who lives in a mansion close to the Cobham training centre with his family, also has some recovery facilities for extra work in the building.
Now it is not so surprising that he is still so good for a 36-year-old, is it?
