John Terry has now shared his thoughts on Todd Boehly at Chelsea while speaking at a live event.
It was respected journalist Simon Phillips who managed to gather the 42-year-old’s comments on the American.
So, what did John Terry say about Todd Boehly? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, things have not been straightforward for Chelsea since the 49-year-old replaced Roman Abramovich.
The Blues finished 12th in Boehly’s first season, and have begun his second campaign at the helm with four points from a possible 12 in the Premier League.
Despite that, Terry is backing Boehly to take Chelsea to the summit of English football once again.
The Chelsea legend said: “I’ve come across Todd Boehly five or six times. They are trying all they can. They have all the right intentions. Frank was dealing with it closely and they are trying to do the right things long term. All we can do is trust them. I believe we will be back.”
Trust is the key word there – Chelsea fans need to have a lot of faith and patience, as the American’s project seems like one that will be a slow burner.

Boehly has signed a vast amount of young players – in fact, over £230m has been spent on teenagers alone.
Therefore, Chelsea fans will have to wait for these talents to fulfil their potential – some may even fall off track as the project goes on.
John Terry comments on Todd Boehly should put Chelsea fans at ease
Everyone has an opinion on Boehly nowadays after his noisy introduction to English football.

However, the opinions that matter most come from those with inside knowledge of the situation and also those who hold Chelsea close to their heart.
Terry falls into both of those categories, and if he believes things will be alright under Boehly, then that should bring plenty of comfort to the Chelsea fans.
