Paul Pogba admits he is fond of watching reported Chelsea target Jude Bellingham in full flow.
Speaking to the Muslim Money Guys, Pogba purred over the Borussia Dortmund gem.
With a decade in age difference between the two players, it should really be Bellingham looking up to the Juventus midfielder.
The 19-year-old may have watched clips of Pogba on YouTube whilst he was growing up as inspiration for his own journey.
Yet, Bellingham has not lived an ordinary life since becoming a senior professional because he is not an ordinary footballer.
Individuals young and old in the sport now look to the England international for motivation.
He is already one of the world’s brightest and best talents, and his adventure has only really just begun.
Just marvel at Jude
Before his 20th birthday, Bellingham has played over 100 times for Dortmund, appeared at a European Championships and could well be a starter for England at the upcoming World Cup.
People from around the globe will be tuning in on Monday to see the Three Lions face Iran, hoping to witness the country’s sparkling star in action.
Pogba might be part of the interested pack, as he watches on from home due to missing the tournament through injury.
His focus will be on several players he confessed to making notes on, including Bellingham.
“I look at all the players. I love football like I said and I love to learn every day,” said the Frenchman.
“Even young players that come, they have abilities and qualities I don’t have. I learn from these players.
“In my position, I wouldn’t say he’s the best player but I like the style, I look at Toni Kroos, (Marco) Verratti, Thiago, because they are not six and they are not number tens. Box-to-box midfielder, they can make assists, that can score.
“Right now, I’ve seen Bellingham, those players. Bellingham is doing very, very good and I think he will get to a very top level.”
Chelsea chase after Bellingham
The bar can only be raised further for Bellingham.
But to arguably take the next step, some would suggest he must tackle the intensity of the Premier League.
Chelsea will apparently want to initiate this challenge as they aim to sign the teenager next summer.
This won’t be easy of course, and numerous other European heavyweights look in the direction of Dortmund’s diamond.
Todd Boehly will hope his financial fortress can be the difference in making Bellingham a blue eventually.
