Joao Felix suggests his current Chelsea form is positive, and he’s adapting well at Stamford Bridge.

Joao Felix, 23, signed for the Blues back in January on a six-month loan deal from Atletico Madrid.

The Portugal international has been fairly upbeat this week when asked about his time in West London so far.

“I preferred to talk only about the national team and leave the clubs more to the side. But yes, I am enjoying the change and I am adapting well,” Felix said, as quoted by A Bola.

Felix scored his second Blues goal in last weekend’s 2-2 draw at home to Everton. Garth Crooks said afterwards that Felix is getting better and better with every Chelsea appearance.

The skilful forward has definitely added an extra buzz to Graham Potter’s side since joining mid-season.

Considering these are his first few months in the Premier League, Felix has made the transition into the English game very smoothly so far.

Graham Potter has been full of praise for Felix’s impact so far in Chelsea colours. You are likely to hear the entire fanbase agree with him, too.

Let’s wait and see if Chelsea decide to try sign Felix on a permanent basis this summer. If he’s within their budget, the Blues have to seriously consider it.

We sound like a broken record when reiterating that Chelsea’s focus in the summer transfer window must be on a traditional centre-forward. After that, signing a creator like Felix could be great.

The on-loan Atletico Madrid star is causing Premier League defences nightmares with his movement in-between the lines, something that Kai Havertz likes to try do as well.
