Lesley Ugochukwu has claimed there’s three Chelsea teammates who’ve really impressed him since joining.
Lesley Ugochukwu, who’s just 19, completed a move this summer from Rennes to Chelsea and gone straight into the first-team squad at Stamford Bridge.
The young central midfielder is competing for a starting position in an area of the pitch where the Blues are stacked with quality.
Interestingly, he’s given huge praise to three Chelsea players he’s competing with for a starting spot.

Ugochukwu has praised Chelsea’s midfield trio of Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia as quality players after working with them for the past couple of weeks on the training pitch.
“Personally, I have never been afraid of competition. I learn with very good players like Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo or Roméo Lavia who is the same age as me. It’s up to me to find, to grab the most minutes,” Ugochukwu told Le Parisien.

Ugochukwu has been a surprise inclusion in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad to start the season, but he looks like he can offer something to the group.
The French teenager is a defensive midfielder with superb physicality and athleticism, which should suit the English game.
We feel he’ll be someway down the midfield pecking order when everyone’s fit and available. There may be a chance for him to shine and prove himself, though.
Romeo Lavia is still waiting to make his club debut despite training since joining from Southampton. Unfortunately, The Evening Standard reports there’s fears the midfielder could face a long layoff after suffering a fresh injury in training.
