Andrey Nascimento dos Santos is a professional footballer who plays for Chelsea.
Santos began his love story with football at the young age of four, where he actually played futsal in order to lose weight. He enjoyed it so much that he made the step up to football, where he eventually found his way into Vasco De Gama’s academy.
In 2021 at the age of just 16, Santos made his debut for the Brazilian side. He then had a string of substitute appearances where he impressed greatly, which ultimately led to the manager making him a regular starter at the beginning of the 2022-23 season.
He became the youngest goalscorer in the club’s history on the 7th of June 2022, engraving his name into the club’s history forever.
It’s no surprise that big European clubs were sniffing around, and it was Chelsea who obtained his signature in the January 2023 transfer window.
