Wolverhampton Wanderers could field their strongest front three for the final Premier League match of the season against Chelsea today.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has previously delivered positive injury news regarding N’Golo Kante which would be a massive boost for their Champions League hope.
They need at least a draw to secure a top-four finish, regardless of the result of Leicester City v Manchester United.
But Wolves, who are looking to secure the sixth-place to qualify for the Europa League, have had their positive team news as well.
Their topscorer Raul Jimenez has returned to training a couple day ago (Wolves’ official Facebook) after his girlfriend gave birth to their baby this week and could feature for the showdown.
Jimenez has been Wolves’ primary goalscoring threats, having bagged 17 goals (and six assists) in the league this term.
Manager Nuno Espirito Santo is also likely to start Diogo Jota after Daniel Podence got the nod ahead of the Portuguese in their last match against Crystal Palace.
Jota, Jimenez and Adama Traore – certainly a front three that is capable of causing problems for Chelsea’s defence that have conceded 54 goals this season, more than any other team in the top half of the Premier League table.
