Don Hutchison has claimed Chelsea will be even better when they’ve got Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner back in the starting line-up.
Lukaku, along with teammate Werner, are two Chelsea attackers that have been sidelined through injury since mid-October. The duo were both injured in the same match during a Champions League group stage encounter at home to Malmo.
Lukaku, 28, may return to the Blues squad tonight for the first time since his injury setback. Thomas Tuchel confirms that the Belgian centre-forward has been training ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League game against Juventus, but the most he would be able to manage is a substitute appearance.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old German forward Werner was an unused substitute during the weekend’s 3-0 Premier League win away at Leicester City.
ESPN pundit Hutchison reckons Chelsea will be an even greater attacking force when both are fit and playing. Incidentally, Thomas Tuchel’s side have scored 39 goals in 19 games across all competitions this season.
“If you’re trying to play against Chelsea at this present time, you’ve got no idea who to mark because they’re scoring from all over the pitch,” Hutchison said.
“Once they have Timo Werner back, and especially Romelu Lukaku, they’re only going to get better.”

Chelsea attack can improve
Chelsea are in a luxury position because there is still so much more to come from them.
They are top of the Premier League table after 12 games, plus they know they’ll qualify for the Champions League knockouts by avoiding defeat against Juventus tonight.
But, the attacking side of their game can get much better.
In fairness, the Blues have coped well without two massive forwards in Werner and Lukaku. Malmo defender Anel Ahmedhozic said he was relieved he didn’t have to face the pair earlier this month.
It’s going to be interesting to see how the frontline takes shape in the next few weeks when Tuchel’s got so many quality options to pick from.
