Brentford attacker Said Benrahma put in an excellent display on Saturday afternoon in the Championship – and some Chelsea fans reacted on Twitter to insist he ends up at Stamford Bridge next season.

The Express reported in June that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was interested in a potential swoop for the 24-year-old attacker.

The report claimed that he’s valued at £25million, but that Premier League outfit Leicester City are currently leading the race for him.

Chelsea fans on social media clearly haven’t forgotten recent speculation about the Algeria international and were in awe of his latest dazzling performance.

Benrahma was the star of the show in a 3-1 Brentford win away to Derby County, which keeps them still firmly in the Championship race for automatic promotion.

The left-winger scored twice in the early kick-off, including a stunning strike from the edge of the box that he curled into the far top corner.

He’s a skilful winger with a low centre of gravity and looks good enough to grace the Premier League, with his reputation continuing to grow each game.

Benrahma now has 16 goals and nine assists in the league for his team this season, so Chelsea are certainly looking at a top talent with great potential.
