Chelsea loanee Kenneth Omeruo is attracting widespread interest due to his form in La Liga this season.
The 25-year-old is on loan with Spanish club Leganes for the campaign and they are 12th in the top flight.
According to the Sun, there is now interest from Spanish and German clubs in the powerhouse centre-back.
It is understood that Leganes do have a chance to have the option to buy him though at the end of his loan.
The report details that he is “likely” to depart Stamford Bridge and it seems there will be no shortage of interest.
Omeruo has been an ever-present for Leganes this season and been in impressive form for them.
The Nigeria internatonal is a defender with great pace and strength, while he’s good with the ball at his feet too.
It seems like he’s one of a number of Chelsea loanees that aren’t going to get a look-in under manager Maurizio Sarri and his future lies away from West London.
The Blues could do with an extra centre-back next season competing for a first-team spot, but it looks unlikely to be Omeruo.
He’s been loaned out to six different clubs since joining Chelsea back in 2012 and it appears like he’s not done enough to get a senior chance despite impressing in La Liga.
