Chelsea are reportedly interested in attacker Antonio Marin from Croatian top-flight club Dinamo Zabgreg.
According to Sky Sports, the Blues are tracking the highly-rated 18-year-old following his emergence in the senior Dinamo team.
The report explains that Manchester City are also monitoring the teenager, while La Liga side Villarreal are eyeing him too.
Marin has played four senior games across all competitions so far this season and also played in the UEFA Youth League recently, where he managed an assist against Manchester City’s Under-19s side.
The left-winger is renowned as a trickster that is strong off both feet and is being tipped for a very bright future in the game.
He has represented Croatia up to the Under-21 age group and his performances have done enough to catch the attention of Chelsea’s scouts.
The speed machine is being integrated into the Dinamo first-team and it will be intriguing to see if he can replicate his trickery on the big stage throughout the course of the upcoming season.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has a pool of young talents to select from at Stamford Bridge and young players across the globe would surely love to be at the club right now.
Academy graduates Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James have just returned from injury to boost the senior squad, where they will already find young teammates such as Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori and Mason Mount impressing.
Marin is a rising star in Europe that has caught the eye of the Blues, but he’s still a fairly inexperienced talent improving his game in Croatia.
