Barcelona will reportedly listen to any kind of bid from Chelsea or anybody else for Antoine Griezmann.

According to the Times, Barca are preparing for all manner of offers for the France international and won’t disregard any of them, within reason.

Griezmann is part of the club’s wider plan to try and lower their wage bill, in order to keep hold of Lionel Messi.

Messi technically became a free agent at the start of this month and the Camp Nou hierarchy are doing everything in their power to lock down his services once again.

This requires meeting his contract demands, which includes a very expensive salary.

Based on their current financial situation, the Spanish side won’t be able to afford this without shipping on some of their stars.

Included in this wholesale is Griezmann, who is easily amongst the top earners at Barca.

Salary Sport states the 30-year-old’s weekly income stands at £594,000.

Removing this fee from the roster would certainly aid their Messi mission.

Chelsea are one of the teams Griezmann will apparently be presented to, as per the Daily Star.

Permitted Barca are open to any type of proposal, Marina Granovskaia could easily work her transfer magic and try to get a sweet deal.

Granovskaia might also want to keep an eye on another player seemingly about to be released by the La Liga giants.

Miralem Pjanic is too a pricy employee that Barca wants off the payroll, with Chelsea said to be interested (Sun).
