Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher on loan.

According to The Sun, French league leaders PSG want to sign the Blues-owned youngster on a permanent basis.

It is understood the 21-year-old is a £50million target for PSG, whose manager Mauricio Pochettino is a “big fan” of the Chelsea loanee.

The report explains the Ligue 1 club think Chelsea will be willing to sell him. If PSG can’t negotiate a deal in January due to complications in his current loan at Crystal Palace, they’re prepared to wait until the summer to try complete a transfer.

Gallagher, who’s another exceptional talent made in Chelsea’s academy, is watching his reputation soar every week during an excellent loan at Premier League and London rivals Palace.

The box-to-box midfielder has six goals and three assists in 18 Palace appearances this campaign. Also, he recently became a senior England international.

Chelsea must forget Gallagher interest

PSG’s reported interest in Gallagher says everything about how well his loan is going at Selhurst Park that he can attract one of Europe’s elite teams.

Rated at £50million, the Blues could potentially receive a large windfall for someone that’s yet to play a first-team match for Chelsea.

However, he’s a ready-made product that Blues manager Thomas Tuchel needs to bring into his squad next season, so PSG must be ignored.

Palace boss Patrick Vieira recently said Gallagher finishes like Frank Lampard and Chelsea would dearly love a goalscoring midfielder in their ranks once again.
