Brighton midfielder and Chelsea target Alexis Mac Alliser reportedly wants to join Juventus.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus are admirers of the 24-year-old star.

The report explains that Mac Allister really likes the idea of joining the Italian giants, but his future will ultimately be decided by Brighton.

This comes after TYC Sports claimed earlier this month that Chelsea, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are interested in signing the £27million-rated central midfielder.

Mac Allister wants to join Juventus

It should come as a significant blow to rival suitors that Mac Allister has his sights set on Juventus.

There’s no surprise that there’s widespread transfer speculation about his future after an exceptional World Cup tournament, as he helped Argentina win the prestigious trophy.

Described as “incredible” by Brighton teammate Adam Lallana, Mac Allister’s stock has risen rapidly in the past month.

He was enjoying a really strong season at club level prior to the World Cup, scoring five goals in 14 Premier League games for Brighton this season.

The South American does look the real package as a midfielder when you look at what he can contribute both offensively and defensively.

If he can be snapped up for anywhere near the quoted £27million price tag, Mac Allister could be the bargain signing of 2023 for any club.

Juventus may have dropped down to the Europa League this campaign and are 10 points off the top in Serie A. However, they’re still one of Europe’s biggest names with a big transfer pull.

Chelsea are linked with Mac Allister’s international teammate right now, Enzo Fernandez.

Journalist Cesar Luis Merlo reports Chelsea have moved closer to signing Benfica’s 21-year-old midfielder.
