Chelsea will reportedly begin negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the Premier League season as they are reportedly the only club in the race for Kai Havertz.
Having already signed Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, the Blues are reportedly keen to secure their third summer signing as soon as the Premier League season ends.
According to a report from Sky Germany (via Sky Sports), Chelsea performance and technical adviser Petr Cech will fly to Germany following the conclusion of the league season on Sunday to hold face-to-face talks.
The report added that Leverkusen still want a transfer fee of £90million for their ace whose contract expires in two years, while Chelsea are looking to reach an agreement on an initial fee around £70m, with performance-related add-ons included.
The 21-year-old himself is said to be keen on a potential move to Stamford Bridge as he is impressed by the side Frank Lampard is building.

Asked about the Germany international during the press conference yesterday, Lampard said: “I’m not talking about Kai Havertz.
“As I said before, he is a player of another team.”
Although his smirk convinced some people that Lampard is hiding something about Chelsea’s pursuit of Havertz.
