Chelsea fans are excited by a report claiming Blues reported target Kai Havertz missed Bayer Leverkusen’s performance tests ahead of their full return training.
According to a report from German outlet Bild, the 21-year-old was missing from Leverkusen’s health and performance tests on Sunday afternoon.
The report added that Havertz took part in a couple of Covid-19 tests with Leverkusen on Friday and Saturday after returning from holiday as he needed it for international duty for Germany, but his absence in today’s test could indicate his transfer to Chelsea could be announced soon.
Some Chelsea fans who have been rather impatient about seeing the reported target in blue also noticed Havertz’s absence in the team photos during the tests shared by Leverkusen’s social media account, not even in the footage of the tests.
Die ersten haben's schon geschafft! 💪
