Chelsea are now reportedly fixed on Sporting Lisbon’s Pedro Porro as their main right-back target.
The Blues have been linked with a number of full-backs already during the January transfer window, with Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters and Celtic’s Josip Juranovic among them.
However, there’s been plenty of speculation towards Sporting’s 23-year-old defender.

Pedro Porro interest
Journalist Simon Phillips has explained that Chelsea are prioritising Porro as their potential new signing at right-back.
It is understood that the Blues are in discussions with the Spain international’s agent.
When discussing Pedro Porro, Simon Phillips told GiveMeSport: “Chelsea have spoken to his agent, and at the moment, that’s where we are; they’re in contact with his agent.
“You can consider him as the main target at right-back for Chelsea right now. But again, it is all about convincing the player to come in and play second-fiddle to Reece James.”

Chelsea may be keen on signing Porro as a right-back at the moment, but he has also been linked with rivals Tottenham.
Journalist Ben Jacobs recently claimed that Spurs have done more than Chelsea so far in the race to sign Sporting’s full-back, who’s got a release clause of €45million (£40million).
This week’s speculation suggests Graham Potter’s side are in the running, though.
Porro has a remarkable 10 assists in 23 appearances this season for Sporting as their right wing-back, so he could be ideal competition and cover for Reece James in west London. As for Spurs, Porro would surely stroll into their line-up as the right-sided defender.
