Reported Chelsea transfer target Angel Gomes has opened up about his ambition to win trophies for Manchester United.

Manchester United would definitely want to keep their prospect at the club but a new deal looked unlikely considering the limited game time Gomes had under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Gomes was handed his first-team debut by Jose Mourinho in 2017, but has only featured in six senior games under Solskjaer this season.
However, speaking in a Google Hangout conversation with teammate Andreas Pereira, Gomes suggested a desire to stay at Manchester United.
He said (as quoted by Manchester United’s official website): “I’ve seen it over the years, coming up from the academy and being at United my whole career.
“It’s what I want to go on to do — win trophies for the club.”
Even though snatching the United’s talented midfielder looks very unlikely now, Chelsea still have plenty of options for the attacking midfield position, including Conor Gallagher who has made headlines during his loan spells at Charlton Athletic and Swansea City.
Frank Lampard also already has a couple young attacking midfielder at his disposal; the likes of Mason Mount and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
