‘Would be a brilliant signing’: Some fans buzzing with links to ‘insane’ 18-year-old Chelsea speedster

Aston Villa are being linked with Chelsea prospect Tino Livramento – and some Villa fans on Twitter are excited by the transfer speculation.

Goal reports that Villa are among the clubs that are seen as a viable option for the 18-year-old defender this summer.

It is understood that the teenager’s future is in doubt due to the Blues interest in Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi.

Livramento, who won Chelsea’s Academy Player of the Season this year, is a huge talent.

The English speedster has been so vital in the Unde-23s side. He’s a right-back by trade. Additionally, he’s shown his quality as a wing-back and a winger.

Livramento has been spotted training with the Chelsea senior squad. However, a first team debut has not happened yet.

He didn’t get onto the pitch during his two times on the Premier League bench in May, but he’s clearly someone in the thoughts of senior manager Thomas Tuchel.

Chelsea should only sanction loan exit for Livramento

Goal’s report doesn’t mention if Villa’s interest in Livramento is for a permanent or loan deal, which should be a concern.

He’s the next big talent to come out of Cobham in the opinion of some people, so losing him would be a massive disappointment.

The speed machine could arguably cover in the Chelsea squad next year for the wing-back position, but the chance to play elsewhere in his first taste of senior football should attract him.

A selection of Villa fans on social media have heard enough about Livramento to say they’d love to sign him.

Here are some Villa fans discussing Livramento:
