Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham is reportedly on the radar of Manchester City.
According to Le10 Sport, the Blues star is being eyed by English rivals Manchester City and they could try open discussions about him in the next few months
The report details that Chelsea are trying to sort a new contact for the 22-year-old and are encountering some issues.
Goal have previously reported that Abraham is in talks about a new deal, but the new salary price is a sticking point at the moment and he wants parity with the £180,000-a-week that teammate Callum Hudson-Odoi has.
Manchester City are a giant club that have won back-to-back Premier League titles in the last two seasons and face Real Madrid in the last-16 of this campaign’s Champions League, while the Blues have Bayern Munich to try get past over two legs.
But it seems unimaginable that Chelsea will allow Abraham to leave and surely they will fix any issues over a new deal for the academy graduate.
He’s developed into the first-choice striker for Frank Lampard’s team and is ripping it up during his first senior season at Stamford Bridge.
The England international has played 28 games this campaign across all competition for the Blues, scoring 14 goals and supplying five assists in return.
There are some excited comparisons between Abraham and club legend Didier Drogba from optimistic supporters, but there is no doubt he’s seizing his opportunity and is on course to smash the 20-goal barrier this season.
