The 17-year-old supplied three assists, with the first two coming in the first half to set up a brace for teammate Henry Lawrence.

He showed superb composure with the first by completing a clever pass inside the box, while the second was all about a powerful driving run forward before finding the pass.

As well as that, he was on hand to set up Bryan Fiabema with a simple pass through the middle of the pitch to leave his teammate one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

Vale wrapped up the perfect day with a goal of his own late on, and he’s an upcoming talent that has received a lot of praise on social media. He’s an extremely versatile teenager that has shown at youth level he can play as a wing-back, attacker or midfielder with his set of skills.

He’s been with the club since joining from Fulham as an Under-13, signing his first professional contract back in September 2020.

Chelsea’s academy has been producing gems in the last few years, Mason Mount the perfect example, and Vale is someone to watch out for considering he’s shining in the Under-23s at the age of 17.
