Chelsea’s Under-23s side were in action on Friday – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were left wowed by the performance of their highly-rated teenager Tino Livramento.

The Blues youth team recorded a 2-2 draw with Arsenal’s Under-23s in the Premier League 2 fixture.

Thierno Ballo and Marcel Lewis were both on the scoresheet for Andy Myers’ Chelsea team, but Arsenal earned a point through goals from Reiss Nelson and Charlie Patino.

There has been so many examples in recent years of top-class talents coming out of the academy at Cobham and that production line is likely to continue.

A selection of Blues supporters on social media picked out 18-year-old Livramento as one real standout from yesterday’s match.

The attack-minded wing-back was involved in the opening goal with the pre-assist and he looks so good offensively this season when playing for the Under-23.

One fan suggested he’d be ideal as a wing-back in the system introduced by new senior manager Thomas Tuchel, but the English youngster is yet to make his first-team debut and only turned 18 in November.

Chelsea have one academy graduate in Reece James currently shining at right-back, but perhaps he could have some extra competition in the near future from speedster Livramento.
