Chelsea have let several top talents go in the past and missed the chance to bring them back to the club. There is a lot of top talent on the market around Europe, but here are three players who used to play for Chelsea that the club should consider re-signing.
Jeremie Boga

Jeremie Boga was a Gary Cahill red card away from breaking into the Chelsea first team in 2017. After that, he spent several years out on loan before moving to Sassuolo on a permanent deal in July 2018.
The 22-year-old has four goals and an assist in Serie A this season, and if rumours of a buy-back clause are true, Chelsea should seriously consider bringing the French winger back to the club.
Nathan Ake

Nathan Ake has been one of several defenders linked with Chelsea in recent weeks. It has been reported that Chelsea have a £40 million buy-back clause for the Netherlands international but must activate it in January, otherwise it will no longer be available.
Ake is now a well developed Premier League defender and would bring some much-needed experience to the Chelsea defence. It is worth considering for those involved at the club.
Patrick Van-Aanholt

Van Aanholt is the only one on this list that has not been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. However, it could prove to be a smart buy for the Blues.
Chelsea are looking to strengthen their left-back options and could do worse than the Crystal Palace defender. If Lampard continues to use wing-backs, PVA’s attacking prowess could make him an attractive option for the club.
