Chelsea fans have been left elated by the recent news that Hakim Ziyech will be moving to Stamford Bridge in the summer, with many expecting him to be a superstar in the Premier League.
The Blues have confirmed that the Ajax playmaker will be joining after he finishes the rest of the season with the Dutch giants.

He arrives as a supreme talent, scoring eight goals and supplying 21 assists in 30 games across all competitions so far this season for Ajax.
Ziyech’s imminent addition to the squad is certainly an interesting one though and where Frank Lampard looks to squeeze him into the XI is already a hot topic of discussion.
The Morocco international is an attacking midfielder that can influence play from a central position behind the striker, but also likes to cut inside from the right flank.

It already seems extremely congested in the middle of the park with the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount, so perhaps new addition Ziyech will predominantly be used in a wide role.
But that could leave Callum Hudson-Odoi with a big point to prove.
Hudson-Odoi is a highly-rated talent to come through the academy at Chelsea and has made 25 senior appearances this campaign, with four consecutive starts too in the recent Premier League matches.
The 19-year-old is a versatile winger that has been used on both flanks and his job is to try cement his spot in the side on a permanent basis.

He’s chipped in with three goals and five assists so far this campaign, but there is still so much more to come from him if he can fulfil his potential.
Hudson-Odoi could find his path blocked in the side next season though if Ziyech takes up the right wing, while current teammate Christian Pulisic has often looked threatening on the left.
It’s up to Hudson-Odoi to really step on the grass in the second half of the season and show to Lampard he’s got a crucial role to play moving forward.
