Izzy Brown has been on the books with Chelsea since 2013 and he was expected to become a regular in the senior squad once upon a time.
The attacker was integrated into the first-team under Jose Mourinho at a similar time to Ruben Loftus-Cheek and was being tipped for stardom.

He made his only Chelsea first-team appearance in a Premier League match against West Brom on the final day of the 2014/15 season and was such a hit for the Blues at youth level too.
But his time away on numerous loan spells since has meant he’s drifted further away from the first team at Stamford Bridge
The creative playmaker spent a season in Holland with Vitesse Arnhem where he struggled, before showing signs of improvement the next campaign during spells with Rotherham and then Huddersfield Town in the Championship.

Brown has recently spent the most recent two seasons struggling during loans at Leeds United and Brighton, which is why it looked like his Chelsea dreams were over.
But the 22-year-old is finally back enjoying himself by playing regularly in the Championship with Luton Town and it looks his best loan to date.
The versatile attacker has been a creative force for Luton and has weighed in with six assists in 14 appearances so far this campaign across all competitions during his resurgence.
He’s clearly sadder by the Chelsea hierarchy given he’s still on the books in West London, so can he make the most unlikeliest of comebacks to break back into the first-team?

Brown would have to enjoy a phenomenal individual season with Luton to get back on the radar, but he’s got a footballing brain in the final third and needs a slice of luck to go his way in terms of injury.
Frank Lampard has shown there is a genuine route into the first team for the Chelsea youngsters and loanees, so Brown is someone to keep an eye out on moving forward.
He has a long way to go to get near Lampard’s squad, but has some brilliant examples to try emulate with the likes of Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori.
