Chelsea fans can finally get excited about the arrival of new boy Christian Pulisic next season, who was signed for £58million (BBC) back in January.
The electric winger remainder with Borussia Dortmund for the rest of the season and played his final game for them on Saturday.
Dortmund won 2-0 away at Borussia Monchengladbach on the final day of the Bundesliga season, but the title did go to Bayern Munich on the final day for a seventh campaign in succession.
Pulisic was given a farewell by completing 90 minutes and he managed a brilliant assist with his low cross for Marco Reus.
But how has the 20-year-old fared over the course of the season?
The USA international could only manage 30 appearances across all competitions during a stop-start season that was plagued by several injuries.
He certainly hasn’t been a regular in the starting XI, but has chipped in with seven goals and six assists.
Most importantly for Chelsea fans he’s finished with a flourish and been directly involved in three goals in his final three games.
Pulisic may not have made the step forward this year that many expected, but his progression is continuing and the Blues are about to welcome such a highly-rated talent for pre-season.
He’s shown he’s a traditional wide man that delivers plenty of crosses into the box and can beat a full-back one-on-one.
Chelsea can be pleased they will soon have this raw talent at their disposal, but at least for the Europa League it could be up to the older pair of Pedro or Willian to perform.
