Chelsea fans adamant that Jorginho is ‘getting better’ after Fulham win
Jorginho has regularly been criticised during his first season in English football, but many Chelsea fans were out in support for him after his performance in the win over Fulham on Sunday.
The Blues recorded a 2-1 victory over their West London rivals at Stamford Bridge at the weekend.

Maurizio Sarri’s side are sixth in the Premier League table, but will jump up to fourth into a Champions League position if they win their game in hand.
Jorginho scored what turned out to be the winner against Fulham, as he stroked the ball into the top corner from outside the penalty area in brilliant fashion.

The 27-year-old netted his first goal from open play for the Blues and it signalled a real turn of good form from him in recent games.
He’s struggled to fully win over fans since he moved to Stamford Bridge from Napoli due to the fact some believe he doesn’t contribute enough going forward.

But the Italian central midfielder showed an eye for goal against Fulham and also demonstrated some attacking through balls that could have resulted in assists.
Sarri is going to persist with the deep-lying playmaker in his system and people won’t mind that if he can replicate the Fulham display more consistently.
Here are some of the Chelsea fans that were impressed by Jorginho’s latest performance:
Jorginho is getting better & better, next season we’ll see why we bought him…Hop in the bandwagon before it’s too late

Agree, Jorginho was great today, link up with Higuain is underrated, reminds me of a Fabregas – Costa.

We being real that was Jorginho’s best performance of the season, class goal & so many chances created, has responded to his doubters in an emphatic way.

I love Jorginho and not just because he scored today. He is excellent at ball retention and has also been robbed of some assists by poor movement and poor finishing. A player still adapting to this league and some underperforming players around him. Will only get better with time

Another class performance for Jorginho.
