Moises Caicedo delivered a fantastic performance for Chelsea in tonight’s important 2-0 away win at Fulham.
That is according to plenty of the Blues fanbase on social media.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side recorded a well-deserved victory in the Premier League against close rivals Fulham, which actually means they climb to 11th in the table.
The visitors scored a quick-fire double inside two first-half minutes, the opener coming through Mykhailo Mudryk’s first goal for the club in the 18th minute. Afterwards, Armando Broja scored in the 19th minute on his first start for just under a year.
It seems like the midweek win over Brighton in the Carabao Cup has done wonders for the confidence of the group at Stamford Bridge.
We noticed a lot of eye-catching performances on Monday evening against Fulham, especially in the midfield.
Moises Caicedo, 21, was part of an extremely effective trio alongside Enzo Fernandez, with Conor Gallagher just in front as the No 10.
Caicedo has been under the microscope at the start of his Blues career due to the mammoth £115million (Sky Sports) he cost to sign from Brighton in the summer.
However, there’s a lot of Chelsea fans online who feel the Ecuador international put in a wonderful display against Fulham.
The deep-lying midfielder broke up possession well and gave a real assurance in front of the back four. In addition, he showed some great moments on the ball, including a memorable pass in the build up for Mudryk’s goal.
Some Chelsea fans believe Caicedo’s contribution against Fulham was outstanding. In fact, his best so far for the club.
