Chelsea fans hail ‘machine’ N’Golo Kante after his performance against Tottenham

N’Golo Kante starred in a 2-0 victory over Tottenham on Wednesday night in the Premier League – and many Chelsea fans were blown away by his latest performance.

The 27-year-old midfielder once again showed his tireless work-rate to frustrate Spurs all over the park and supporters loved his contribution.

Maurizio Sarri’s team earned a much-needed win at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League to keep them very much in the top four hunt.

Pedro broke the deadlock in the second-half with his left-footed finish after bursting into the penalty area, while Kieran Trippier then netted a calamitous own goal late on.

Chelsea performed to a high standard despite losing to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final days earlier on penalties.

Kante showed his freak stamina to drop a world-class performance against Manchester City and just three days later back that up with his monstrous effort against Spurs.

The French World Cup winner is an integral part of the Blues team and continues to grow in the box-to-box role enforced on him by Sarri.

He’s consistently one of the standout players in the side with his level of performance and he stamped his authority against Spurs.

Here are some of the Chelsea fans raving about Kante:

Dom is a Chelsea supporter who has worked in online publishing for more than six years. Graduated from Staffordshire University in 2016, he now writes exclusively for The Chelsea Chronicle covering news, analysis and match coverage. He enjoys the dream position of writing about his boyhood club, which seems to be involved in more drama every single day than an episode of The Bill. Aside from his love for Chelsea, he supports and follows the England cricket team. He also fancies himself as the Sunday League version of Michael Essien.
