Chelsea moved up to third in the Premier League after an impressive win over West Ham on Monday night – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter were discussing Gonzalo Higuain’s performance on Twitter.

The Blues managed to beat the Hammers 2-0 at Stamford Bridge and Eden Hazard stole the show with his brilliant individual display.

He scored a goal in each half to leave Chelsea fans in awe, with his first a mesmerising left-footed finish inside the box that came after he somehow dribbled his way past a wave of West Ham defenders.

Maurizio Sarri’s side have now won three league games on the spin to build some real momentum and they travel to Slavia Prague on Thursday night next for the first leg of a Europa League quarter-final tie.

Many Chelsea fans spoke about Higuain on social media after the game and he was recalled to the starting XI.

The Argentinian centre-forward was unable to get on the scoresheet and has just three goals in 12 games since joining on loan in January.

He had a great opportunity to score inside the penalty area from a cross, but instead of heading the ball he took it down and saw his attempted volley deflected wide.

The 31-year-old was eventually replaced by teammate Olivier Giroud in the second-half and it seems like it’s the Frenchman that is the better option right now.

Here are some of the Chelsea fans venting their frustrating towards Higuain:
