Kepa Arrizabalaga kept a clean sheet for Chelsea in the win over Slavia Prague – and some supporters on Twitter hailed him for his performance.

The Blues earned a 1-0 win to take back to Stamford Bridge, with left-back Marcos Alonso ghosting into the box late on to score a low driven header.

Chelsea were extremely sloppy in possession on Thursday night, as they decided to rest several key players with Liverpool away at the weekend.

But first-choice goalkeeper Kepa was one of four survivors from the win over West Ham and it turned out to be a good decision.

The Blues shot-stopper had to make a number of saves to deny Slavia Prague a goal on the night, which based on the run of player they arguably deserved.

Kept now has 22 clean sheets in 46 games across all competitions for Chelsea and despite struggling at times with crosses, there is no denying he makes big saves in crucial moments.

The Spaniard has managed to adapt well to the Premier League and is proving to be a great replacement for Thibaut Courtois.

He is only aged 24 and it seems like there is plenty of room for him to grow even further at Stamford Bridge.
