Chelsea recorded a 2-1 victory over Watford on Boxing Day in the Premier League – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter raved about midfielder Mateo Kovacic for his individual performance.
Maurizio Sarri’s side are still fourth in the league table and now have a two-point cushion over fifth-placed Arsenal, who had temporarily moved ahead of them after drawing earlier on Wednesday.

The Blues went in front at Vicarage Road through talisman Eden Hazard on the stroke of half-time after he brilliantly rounded goalkeeper Ben Foster to tap in.
But in injury time of the first-half Roberto Pereyra drew Watford level with a volley from a corner.

Chelsea were back on top for large periods in the second-half and Hazard’s penalty turned out to be the winner, as he netted his 100th and 101st goals for the club.
A selection of supporters on social media singled out Kovacic for the quality of his display, as he made his fourth consecutive league start.
The 24-year-old is on a season-long loan spell at Stamford Bridge from Real Madrid and has caught the eye for his quality on the ball in the centre of the park.

He is a central midfielder that needs to try add more going forward and made a good start by assisting Hazard’s opening goal with a through ball.
