Jay Dasilva completed 90 minutes for England’s Under-21s side on Tuesday night – and some Chelsea fans on Twitter offered mixed responses to the performance of their defender.
The Young Lions suffered a 2-1 defeat to France in their opening match of the Under-21s European Championships.

There were several Blues representatives for England and Dasilva slotted in at left-back for Aidy Boothroyd’s team.
The 21-year-old full-back is a product of the Chelsea academy and spent last season out on loan with Bristol City in the Championship, where he managed to impress many.
He’s a pocket-sized defender that lacks a physical presence, but is technically excellent in possession and dangerous going forward with his pace.

Dasilva showed glimpses of his quality for England on the international stage on Tuesday, but defensively was given a tough examination by Lille winger Nanitamo Ikone.
The dazzling wide man cut inside on a few occasions to get the better of the Chelsea man and scored an equalising goal from the edge of the box late on, before a 95th minute own goal from Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

A selection of Chelsea fans tuned in to watch their young promising talent and there were mixed reviews on how he performed.
Here are some Blues fans reacting to Dasilva’s performance:
