Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham surely has a path into the first team at Stamford Bridge next season already mapped out for him.
The 21-year-old has made a brilliant impact on loan with Aston Villa in the Championship this season and appears to have guided them to a play-off finish.
He’s an all-action striker that has scored 24 goals in just 36 league games for Villa and could even get them over the line for promotion still.
Abraham has proven he’s far too good in the Championship and is exactly the type of goal threat that could make an impact in Maurizio Sarri’s team next season.
The English centre-forward is a fox in the box that has great movement and is strong in the air too.
With the striker position a problem for Chelsea of late, it would make perfect sense to draft in Abraham after the form he’s shown at Villa.
The youngster scored eight times in 39 games for Swansea City last season to prove he’s ready for a shot in the Premier League and the 2019/20 campaign should be his breakout year for the Blues.
Chelsea may need to depend on their loan talents depending on the outcome of a potential transfer ban, but regardless of that Abraham has surely put in the type of performances that will have grabbed Sarri’s attention.
