Chelsea should capitalize on the Ousmane Dembele situation at Barcelona and bid for him in January.
The 21-year-old has not played as much as he would have liked since his $105 million move from Borussia Dortmund in 2017. He faces competition for his place in the forms of Phillipe Coutinho and Malcom. So far, he has not nailed down the left wing position.

Dembele is displaying some attitude problems. He recently arrived late at the ground for the Champions League game against Inter Milan. Coach Ernesto Valverde responded by excluding him from the game that evening.
Reports have since emerged suggesting that Barcelona have told Dembele to consider his options once the January transfer window opens. At the right price, he could be prized away from the Nou Camp.

He would be expensive and would probably cost close to $100 million. Chelsea should not balk at the price tag though. With Willian inconsistent and Pedro aging, the Blues need a long term option of world class ability on the right flank. If Eden Hazard stays at the club, the thought of Dembele and Hazard playing on the wings is mouthwatering.
Chelsea showed that they are willing to pay excessive amounts for players if they view them as long term regulars when they signed Kepa. He cost a world record fee for a keeper but now the position is tied up for years. The same applies for Dembele.

There are no other right sided players of his quality out there. He is available ta the right price and he seems discontented at the Nou Camp. Chelsea would be wise to move in January.
