Dani Carvajal would appear to have no reason to leave Real Madrid. He is La Liga and Champions League winner. He is the number one right back at the Bernabéu and for the Spain national team.
However, Carvajal recently stated that he would like to play in the Premier League before his career is over.https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/real-madrid-star-dani-carvajal-13388143
Carvajal, together with Mateo Kovacic, could be used as makeweights in a potential deal for Eden Hazard.

Carvajal would offer Chelsea an upgrade on Cesar Azpilicueta in the right back position. Azpilicueta has been a wonderful player but he is struggling to adapt to the demands of Sarri’s system.
Kovacic is owned by Real Madrid but he is giving the impression that he does not want to return to Spain. It would interest all parties that Kovacic joins the Blues permanently.

If Hazard continues his form until the end of the season, Madrid will probably bid for him. Hazard himself will probably ask to leave. With only a year remaining in his contract, the Belgian’s asking price would be well below his market value.

In this case, Chelsea would be better served to asks for players in return in order to get the best possible deal for themselves. Kovacic would be the most obvious player to demand in return for Hazard. Throwing in Carvajal would make the loss of Hazard, though damaging, a little more acceptable.
