Chelsea legend Eden Hazard may just be the best dribbler Stamford Bridge has ever seen.
There is Chelsea great Gianfranco Zola as well, while another player who has also proven down the years that he is more than capable of beating defenders is Raheem Sterling.
According to WhoScored, Eden Hazard and Wilfried Zaha are actually the only two footballers since the 2009/10 Premier League season who have completed more successful dribbles than Sterling.
Zaha sits at the top with 969 and Hazard is just below with 909. As for Sterling, he is on 750 but has the opportunity to close the gap with the two leaders for that statistic.
The 28-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City in a £50m deal last year (BBC Sport), has a contract at Stamford Bridge until 2027.
Raheem Sterling dribbling again
For a time, Sterling did stop attacking defenders, with Pep Guardiola really encouraging him to make runs off the ball and into the box instead.
As shown on WhoScored, in his last two seasons at City, the England international recorded averages of 1.8 and 2.1 for dribbles per game in the Premier League. And in his first year at Chelsea, it dropped to 1.4.

However, this term, Sterling’s average has gone back up to an impressive 2.4.
The above has not gone unnoticed, with former Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon recently highlighting the fact that the former City man is going past defenders again.
Sterling is probably never going to reach the level of Hazard, even if he can match the Belgian in terms of numbers. He has played more Premier League games compared to Hazard but is 159 dribbles behind him, showing just what a monster the Chelsea legend really was.
But what all of the above shows is that Sterling can obviously be a dangerous and direct winger for this Chelsea team.
