Levi Colwill has all-but confirmed he’s staying at Chelsea after posting a heartfelt goodbye message to Brighton on Instagram.
The future of Levi Colwill, 20, has been a huge talking point during the summer transfer window.
The highly-rated centre-back enjoyed a fantastic season-long loan last year at Brighton, but he’s returned to parent club Chelsea for pre-season.
Now, the speculation is that the Blues academy graduate will stay at Stamford Bridge for the long-term future.

The Athletic reported this week that Colwill has agreed to sign a new six-year contract extension with Chelsea.
It looks like the England Under-21 international is happy where he is after being integrated into Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team group during pre-season.
Colwill uploaded a farewell post on Instagram yesterday to Brighton, who were clearly a big part of his development during the past year.
Brighton midfielder Billy Gilmour, 22, offered a four-word response in the comment section.

Chelsea fans can’t wait for Colwill’s future to be resolved and for the transfer speculation around him to disappear. It certainly seems like that is very close.

The Athletic has claimed that Pochettino has been key in keeping Colwill at Chelsea amid interest from other teams.
There’s clearly a pathway for the left-footed centre-back at the Bridge, so now it’s all about him fulfilling his potential on the pitch.
Former Chelsea player Gilmour is one that is blossoming away from Stamford Bridge. We’re certain Colwill is making the right choice by staying, though!
