Bruno Saltor raved about N’Golo Kante after his eye-catching Chelsea performance last night against Liverpool.
Bruno, taking charge for the first time as Chelsea’s interim boss, watched his side record a 0-0 draw at home to Liverpool in the Premier League.
It was the same kind of match the Stamford Bridge faithful have become used to seeing this season. They created several glorious opportunities in front of goal, but lacked any kind of end product around the penalty box.
Next, the Blues travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers this Sunday. It’s their last game before the first leg of a Champions League quarter-final tie against holders Real Madrid.

Bruno singled out N’Golo Kante for special praise after yesterday’s display against Liverpool
The 32-year-old midfielder was so impressive as he made his first start since August.
“N’Golo Kante is incredible. His performances are good. He’s a leader with his performances,” Bruno told BBC Sport.
He later added in an interview with Sky Sports: “What he brings to the team in terms of football and leadership is outstanding. It’s a massive plus to have him back.”

Jamie Carragher claims Liverpool’s players forgot how good Kante was when facing Chelsea last night.
In fairness, the France international has barely kicked a ball this season due to a long-term injury. It was like he had never been away this week, though.
He made his first start since August in the Liverpool draw and was a nightmare for the opposition players during his 69 minutes on the pitch.
Let’s hope he’s feeling 100 per cent and happy in his body to go into battle next week against Madrid!
Kante certainly has a knack for turning up in big games and performing against quality opposition, which is why his impact in the Champions League may be vital to any hopes of progressing.
