Chelsea and Three will make an announcement of “something huge” on July 1 ahead of three-year shirt sponsorship deal starting next season.
The three-year deal was announced back in January which means the Three’s logo will appear on all of Chelsea’s shirts from 2020/21, including the men’s team, Chelsea Women, and the academy sides.
“With Three, we have found a partner, who share our passion for innovation and we are delighted to have them on board and on our shirts,” Chelsea chief executive Guy Laurence told the club’s official website about the partnership.
The British telecommunication company announced on Sunday: “On July 1, we have something huge planned with the Blues.
“We don’t want to give the game away just yet, so make sure you pop back.”

Some fans speculate that it would be an announcement of the next season’s shirts with the Three as the new sponsor.
Having already seen a leaked version of the new design circulating on the internet, some of them have called for an alteration of the design.

However, since Chelsea are still in an obligation with Yokohama Tyres until the end of this season (August at the very least), the announcement could also be about the 5g connection at Stamford Bridge.
Three will provide Chelsea’s stadium in the first year of the partnership, having already launched the services last year.
We will just have to wait and see.
